一支來自澳洲的indie-pop樂隊，三個人的組合。很清新很陽光。The lucksmiths的三位成員分別是mark monnone負責彈bass和鍵琴,marty donald是吉他手還有擔任主唱的tali white,樂隊的歌曲多由mark和marty主力創作.他們於1993年以cassette帶形式發表了11曲的同名合輯,從而開始了他們indie band的生涯,他們的歌曲風格多以清新派的guitar-pop見稱,而歌詞的部份是交代他們成長中種種的生活點滴,三人曾被問及他們受那些音樂藝人所影響,marty則說了The Wedding Present, Billy Bragg, Morrissey (and The Smiths), Elvis Costello, Butterglory, The Kinks, Belle & Sebastian, Lloyd Cole, The Housemartins, Pavement, Trevor Barker (RIP), assorted murder and mystery books等一大堆名字.到阿mark則簡而清地列舉了Jonathan Richman和The Modern Lovers.至於tali則說他第一張購買的唱片是REM的”Green”大碟,而他則喜愛The Steinbecks,Belle and … Continue reading →
